Arrival Day Bookings: pre-booking golf on arrival day can be costly. If the flight is delayed and the tee time is missed, the course will charge a "No Show" and there will be no refunds or replay on another day
Booking Groups: Try to be as accurate as possible in regards to the size of the group, as we may find a course "fully booked", based on the number of tee times the group requires. Try not to be overly optimistic about your eventual numbers, as this may stop you from getting golf that you could have had. Equally, if you later try to increase the group, this could well be impossible.
Buggies: It is nowadays possible to pre-book buggies without a medical certificate; however, there are still certain courses with a restrictive policy where this is simply not allowed. In general, buggies will not be allowed on the courses following bad weather, under any circumstances, for security reasons.
Children: Will not be allowed on the golf course to play or caddy/walk/buggy if less than 12 years old. Children over 12 years must have a handicap and be accompanied by an adult on the golf course.
Junior Golfers: In general, they must be minimum 12 years and maximum 17 years old to be considered a junior, but at some courses the max age is 16. Courses require that Junior are accompanied with at least 1 Adult per flight. When you book, you must inform us that there is a junior involved. After arrival, we cannot change bookings from adult to junior rates, thus please ensure you request the booking correctly in the first place
Teeing Off as two or three-ball: You will not be allowed to play as two balls or three balls. For example, nine players will be 4*3*2 and not 3*3*3, unless you wish to pay for the 12 green fees. The only chance that this may be possible is in the very quiet times ie July, August & December and even this is at the discretion of the course on the day.
Course Closures and Refunds: This is the only time they will refund green fees, but clients should always contact reception to confirm the course closure. With the golf courses confirmation that no charges will be made, we will notify you to refund and will deduct the relevant golf from the booking OR if possible and if you wish, we will rebook for another course or day.
Dress codes: The courses demand professional golf dress and etiquette: golf shoes with soft spikes, tailored shorts/trousers and polo shirts with collars & sleeves. Short socks are allowed with tailored shorts. No denim or blue jeans materials. If clients go to the courses incorrectly dressed, in most cases they are simply not allowed to play, with no refund.
Conduct: The players are responsible for proper conduct at all times, use and care of the golf course, its facilities and equipment including golf buggies. The players will be responsible for any lost or stolen equipment.
Handicap Restrictions: These are provided in the information of each golf course.
All courses who state handicap limits have a right to ask to see the certificates, and often do (Vilamoura courses require it). The courses are becoming stricter about this, and some of them will NOT allow clients to play without seeing a valid certificate. We MUST have handicaps with the original booking to ensure that we are booking clients onto a course where they are eligible to play.
Two Tee Starts: These are always subject to change, when the courses decide, due to daylight hours and demand, that they need this facility to maximise available starting times. Where two tee starts exist, they are generally from 07.30 to 09.30 & from 12.00 until 14.00 hrs. This means that there are no starting times between 9.30 and 12.00, thus we cannot book it even if clients insist!
