Both resorts are consistently popular with golf enthusiasts who enjoy the freedom, flexibility and value for money the self catering accommodation provides them. Prado do Golf is within walking distance of the Old Course and the Golf Academy with its 50 bay driving range, putting and chipping greens, fairway and greenside bunker, 3 full size golf holes as well as the 2 fully equipped instructional studios. Prado Villas backs onto the 13th fairway of the Old Course and all 6 courses are easy to reach from this location.
Vilamoura’s central Algarve location is also an excellent base from which to experience the pleasures of playing on other courses within the Algarve. Surrounding the area there is a host of revered golfing names such as Quinta do Lago, San Lorenzo and Vale do Lobo. To the East near Tavira is the Nicklaus – designed Monte Rei course and to the West is the popular Penina course.
